Mend Hotpoint Gas Ignite Sparks

HOTPOINT GAS HOB-CLICKING BUT WONT IGNITE?

i have a 4 cooker gas hob.one of them is working.balance 3 just wont light.can see the sparks from the lighter thingie.theres obviously gas coming cause 2 of the hobs work.The faulty ones DO light up-but only till the buttons pressed.-they go off the moment i release the ignition botton .Any advise?
