Cannon Chester Gas Cooker - Lower oven won't light?
How can I get my lower oven to ignite? When I turn on the gas the piezo clicks and sparks without having to press the button but the oven does not light.

This type of cooker has a solenoid at the rear. The ignition will work all day but if there is no gas coming through it wont work. I suggest a new part. The only thing is the part you need also holds the flame failure device and costs about 65 quid. After that you need someone to fit it.
