hi i have just had a new hotpoint gw74 cooker and we can't get the main oven to work. the clock has been set and the auto is off. please advise.

We have just bought this and the ignition in the main oven will not switch off when in use?
EWe took back the equivalent Cannon model as this had the same fault?
