Mend Worcester Danesmoor 15/19 Boiler Service Air Pressure

just had servce worcester danesmoor 15/19?

just had my bioler serviced due to lot of black soot but after the service adjusting air fuel pressure etc the boiler cuts out after 15/20 mins and goes to lockout i have asked the engineer to call but has not been back since any advise please

yes it does reignight after i have pressed the reset button although the guy did come back and renew the coil on the side of the pump i,ve lots of black soot ive an inspection chamber access just after the meter high flue (vertical) but the boiler does seeem to run ok on just hot water me thinks perhaps the motorised valve micro switch may be us on the motorised valve? wot you think thankyou all

Sounds like the Solenoid coil is dropping out - a common fault which sods law says will happen after the boiler has been serviced!

I think this depends on how thoroughly the service was done - was all of the soot removed? Did he take the baffles out of the boiler casing and clean them?
He should have renewed the nozzle, ideally, and set the pump pressure to 140 psi. He should then have done a smoke test, followed by a flue gas analysis to see how to set the air door. Does the burner reignite after lockout?
