Toyota 2400 sewing m/c pedal doesnt work anymore?

Any sewing machine shop should be able to cure the problem, it does not have to be a Toyota dealer, have you undone the foot control to see if the carbons have broken up? you can email me but you will have to get my email address on any answer from page 25 down because this site no longer allows email addresses to be shown.
