How can I fix my Zanussi WDT 1085?

Hi, the machine works perfectly except that the on/off switch will not remain in the on position unless it is held there which, as you can imagine, gets a bit tedious! Is it cost effective to get this repaired please? If so, can I do it or do I need a technician?
