How to I keep the Right rear wheel shaft from sliding out disengages after about an inch or so

You need to remove and strip down the transaxle. Assuming it's just worn, and not damaged, it's not a difficult repair, but quite involved, and parts availability may be a problem. You will need the retainer fitted to the inner end of the axle shaft.
