new ecotec 837 central heating doesn't work, but hot water does. Seems to be a problem with the sensor that goes onto the wall and wireless stat? orange light flashes but never get the green one? Any suggestions?
you need to prove if its the boiler or the stat putting the link back will take the stat out of the eqation

it's only just been installed and worked so think its sensor that there is a problem with can't see how one minute it works the next not!

1 turn off electric supply
2 Remove boiler case
3 drop down control panel
4 replace link in boiler (terminals 3 and 4)
5 Turn on heating
6 if heating works either replace batterys in thermostat or reconfigure thermostat or replace thermostat.
