Vauxhall will not start aftewr flat batterie recharged?

My Vauxhall Vectra 1999 est will not start after the batterie went flat.
I recharged the batterie, but it will not start.
It has done this before. Last time I closed all the doors and locked the doors as normal and then reopened doors with remote control, it worked last time but not now ????
