OPTIMA XM KEYPAD NOT WORKING?

In an alarm system the term tamper means that the system has a loose cover on one of the parts. It could be a loose detector cover, the panel cover, the outside bell cover, the keypad cover etc. In rare circumstances it could be damaged wiring. You will need to check all the devices to ensure that nothing has come loose. Also check your user manual to look for any other faults that the manufacturer uses the tamper light to indicate.
