Mend Van Gear Pull

My Van will take gear ,but is slipping to bad to pull much?

Is there any way to adjust the transmission to stop the slipping in it to get it to pull again, or do I have to have it rebuilt

Is it a manual or auto transmission,if it,s an auto it will need to re-built properly to stop the slipping and correct the first fault that caused it slip in the first place,if it is a manual sounds like it will need a new clutch.
