Mend Gainsborough Royale Shower Control

Single lever Thermostatic Shower?

A Gainsborough Royale shower with a single control handle. When switching off, the handle has changed position gradually from upright to nearly three o clock. It has now gone completely past its stop and will not switch off. Luckily I have isolation valves at the inlets. Can this be repaired and if so, how?
