Mend Gainsborough Impulse 9.5kw Shower Knob Appear

How can I fix my Gainsborough impulse shower 9.5kw?

the control knob will not turn. Have taken front panel off and there does not appear to be any broken parts. If i press the water control valve the water comes through as normal. When I put panel back on the control Knob is still jammed. Someone may have tried to turn knob the wrong way could this have caused the problem. Any suggestions?

buy a new knob they are around 9 50 from shower doctor mine did the same thing my cogs on the inlet valve are now worn but they are about 45 pounds might buy a new replacement shower . instead

mine did the same. if you take the front cover off you will probably see next to the coged wheel (on the back of the front cover) that a piece of plastic has broken off. I have bought a new front cover but must admit I cannot work out how to now switch it off!
