how can i fix my car?? renault clio?

my gear stick is moving round in a circle and stuck in gear, it seems to have popped out ov the nylon bush, it can go back in but doesn't stay on it seems to be worn? is it possble to purchase this part myself ov the shelf? and can it be put on easily, eg not in a garage,

buy a new gear lever,or get one from a breakers,yours may be worn,new one shouldnt pop out,unless you have lost the retainer,,,normaly they are held in by a threaded cup that goes over the top of the ball,the threads wear down,sometimes ,then the ball pops out,,,,as the threads dont hold...

Yes you can and they aren't too hard to fit. Its the nylon insert thats worn, so grease the new one before you squeeze it back in with pliers.
