Epson R285 refuses to work?

My R285 was sold with a bulk ink system, which leaked and emptied out into the printer and all over everything else overnight. It took over 3 hours to thoroughly clean up the resultant mess..I took out the ink pads, washed them out as best I could, dried them and replaced them..I cleaned the rest of the printer and blow dried it with air from a compressor. It refuses to show any mains current input now.The green 'on' lamp does not work. The ink never touched any electrical circuit , so Im wondering WHY this thing wont work
