Mend Zanussi 1000 Spin

How can I stop my Zanussi Jetstream 1000 overflowing?

Everything works as normal. including pump, spin, etc. But there is obviously some sensor that tells the machine when it has sufficient water - and this has failed. Now, unless I watch it all the time (and stop the water supply) it keeps filling up - until it floods the kitchen!

could be 2 things
1.the hot or cold inlet valve soleniod could be sticking in the open position.
2.or the pressure chamber tube has come lose from the control unit..
check these first
