Hello-My washing machine does not drain or spin. It seems to go through the wash cycle fine, but does not make an attempt to spin. The drain pump is clear, and the drain hose is not kinked or squashed. I have a Zanussi Quarzo II 1000, Type-P6896645, Prod-914780719. Thank you for your time.

I have had simalar problems in the past. 9 times out of 10 its the carbon brushes located on either side of the motor. not a difficult or expensive job cost less than £10,if you take the lid off your washing machine you will see the motor which drives the belt. make sure you turn the power off before you start. hope this solves your problem,good luck.
