How can I fix my Bosch Exxcel 1400?

The problem began when my Bosch Exxcel 1400 stopped half way through a cycle & hadn't drained properly. I emptied it manually & checked pump, hoses etc. When I selected a programme again the pump started running before I had even pressed the Start button and the LED lights went out. The pump continued humming for about 2 minutes before everything went quiet until it unlocked.

Every time I try to start it on whatever programme it now does the same, thing, except it will occasionally start a wash or a spin. It washes or spins perfectly for about a minute then suddenly cuts out again, leaving the pump running and the LED lights off as before.

The motor had new brushes recently and appears to work very well (e.g. runs fast and silently without any vibration when spinning full speed). The pump obviously runs fine, except that it now seems to be the only thing that does run when a programme is selected!

I have just taken out all the drain pipework from the drum to the pump, and pump to the outlet and cleaned it all thoroughly. Makes no difference! Is this a control unit problem maybe? Would be so grateful if anyone can help?
