Mend Ferroli Modena 80 Heating Water

What could be wrong with my ferolli modena 80?

When central heating is on the water seems to come out too hot?
Also divertor valve has been sticking as sometimes when heating on and turn hot water on heating fails to back on after the tap is turned back on, are these faults related?
