Maplins in uk is good source for this type of Power Supply. Mine is fitted with Master Plug Switch Mode PSU with the following ratings
Input 230volt ac 50hz,
output variable
max 12volts 0.9A rating and set at that.
Polarity should be set so centre pin is positive(+ aligned with tip.
