my monitor powers up for a minute then goes black barely readable wot can v?

my medion 15 inch monitor powers up then goes black with lead disconected from pc it goes into power saving mode can anybody help

dont bin it the problem is the electrolitic capacitors in the inverter there not expencive change them for panasonic 105 deg types and that will sort the problem for you (also change the ones in the power suppy its worth it ) its cheaper than buying a new monitor
