My radiators are working but I dont have hot water?

check the thermister temperature controler for a combi boiler. One plummer thought it was the mother board another though it was the diafram. Even if you get a reading that the thermister might be working the resistence may be incorrect due to corocian on the terminal points.

Hi Guys, Sharon and I have check every thing and they all work fine as they were all replaced recently and checked by a b/gas engineer, about 4 months ago.

The answer was, I tapped all the pipes gently but hard enough to descale/make the lime scale come off the coiled pipe where the hot water goes through into the immersion heater to heat up the water inside the immersion heater and also to clear the pipe holes just incase they were blocked or part blocked.

This was tested and tried today and it worked with an amazing consequences, we now have hot water coming out of all our taps when switched on and also most important our power shower with the correct pressure.

We were going to replace the immersion heater, byut now we're thinking why replace something that works.

Are we luck or what!!!? " What ever your answer, your probably right"

Depends ON WHAT BOILER you have e.g boiler name

if it's a combi your hot water flow switch and or diagphram valve has gone.

If it's not a combi one of your motorised valves have gone.
