ALARM FAULT?

WE HAVE A CONCEPT 300 ALARM FITTED TO A PEUGEOT 306 AND THE BATTERY WENT FLAT AS THE VEHICLE WAS'NT BEING USED AFTER CHARGING THE BATTERY THE ALARM IS CONTINOUSLY SOUNDING IS THIS A FAULT OR DOES IT JUST NEED RESETTING
