Mend Cobra 7900 Alarm Wont Deactivate

alarm wont de-activate?

my sons 7900 cobra alarm will not de-activate after he had complete flat battery !! alarm is always armed both fobs will not turn alarm of when new battery on car fitted which in turn you can't start the vehicle due to the immobiliser ,alarm works if you open doors etc but will not de-activate by using fob !!

cos he had a new battery fitted,,that in turn has made his fobs in-active.he,ll have to go to cobra or their web site to get his fobs "re coded" to his alarm.as alarms work with codes.its a bit like your car radio needing the code put back in after having a new battery fitted.if you dont have the code,,it dont work.try an auto-electrician,but it COULD be costly..
