I recently had a flat battery and afterwards discovered that the alarm/immobiliser will not arm. Please help

I had the same problem and all I did was disconnect the negative terminal, then the positive one. Reconnect in reverse order and mine start chirping away. Not sure if this can be classed as a fix but it worked on mine. :)

you do not have to reprogram a laserline remote if it has been working in the past.
