Mend Vauxhall Astra Mark 4 1.6 Engine Light 98

how can i fix my engine managment light on my vauxhall astra mark 4 1.6 98?

when i am driving my engine managment light will come on then a few miniutes later go out then come back on again and so on please help me as i dont' have a clue where to start looking. and also it lacks pulling power in second from first every other gear is fine.

If your car is diesel, you may stop driving it untill you remove air lock from fuel system, otherwise it would destroy your fuel pump.
You may take your car for OBD2 diagnostics.

Hi, the only way to find the fault is to get the car connected to a diagnostic code reader, most tyre & exhaust and good independant garages will have the kit to read the faults and charge £20~30 main dealers £150+vat !!
