Whirpool AWO3551 Door Locked Light Keeps Flashing?

I hve a whirlpool awo3551. The door locked light keeps flashing and will no let water in or do anything, all it will do is drain. Do you have any idea what it could be.

I found this was due to the motor brushes being worn. Took a part and free up brushes and runs OK. Now ordering replacement parts before fault re-appears.

Indication of an internal fault in the machine - could be heater, thermistor, water level pressure switch or the main motor.
