How can I fix my Admiral Refrigerator?

I cannot reset my water function. I cannot get water without ice even when the ice function is not lit. Also, when I set the fridge to just dispense water, the red light keeps flashing and making a clicking noise. the water filter was due to be replaced, which I've just done, and I cannot reset the water function. The water filter light just keeps flashing and clicking - the only way to stop this is to active the ice cube function. Please help.
