My integrated Siemans M130 fridge/freezer brokedown all of a sudden with a few rather alarming "popping" noises. Apparently the temperature setting had been turned down to level 1 which caused a buld up of water at the base and set up ashort circuit. I replace the fuses in the plugs and switched it on again, but it popped again. I have cleared the water from the base(from under the appliance) and would like find out if it is safe to try it on again.Alernately, is it possible or advisable to get it repaired by a professional
when our leibherr fridge broke down we had trouble finding someone capable enough who could repair it we only found out how troublesome these appliance can be and not many are capable of fixing them also we found to our cost that the service company who liebherr use to contract their work out to had gone into administration leaving us without a working fridge however by a stroke of luck we got in touch with www.agsrefrigeration.co.uk. who operate in the london and surrey area they came out found and rectified fault however they did warn us that liebherr appliances can be difficult machines to work on. Im glad to say ours is still working
