Paper feed for Epson 950?

I have a problem, namely a cat, 6 months old and wants to look into everything. A vase of dried flowers which has been besides the printer for years, all of a sudden has been chewed and some of it has gone into the paper feed. I have got most of it out but it still refuses to feed all the way through. When printing it takes in the paper all the way to the small rollers and then the printer starts printing without the paper.
If anyone has had this problem or knows what could be causing it, I would be very grateful. This printer is superb and I really don't want to have to get rid of it.
