can anyone fit brushes in a margherita 2000 washer?

Generally yes - you need to be fit and agile enough to get access to the motor though...

Here's a vid of a guy in the UK changing brushes of a W/M - he does it on the bench - difficult to film inside the machine...

Not all motor/brush arrangements are the same but the principle is identical on virtually all W/M motors.
