Mend Toyota 2260 Turns Appears Help

toyota 2260?

the handwheel turns and nothing happens. it appears jammed and so is the takeup lever. Help????

Hello Libby,
If the machine is jammed you will not be able to turn the balance wheel, take out the bobbin case, then take out the raceway and check for any thread jammed, if the stop motion is loosened the balance wheel will turn but that is what I suspect it is, email me below if you have any problems.
