Mend Epson DX4400 Printer Language

language problem ?

I have an Epson Stylus DX4400 and, despite uninstalling and reinstalling, all the text when checking ink status etc is in German and when installing, was not given the option to choose English. Is there any easy fix ? Thanks, Glyn.
