Nissan vanette- engine keeps cutting out: electrics or fuel prob?
I have a 1994 Diesel Nissan Vanette (campervan conversion) with an intermitant problem: While driving the battery light will come on and engine immediately cuts out! Bit worrying... Does anyone know if this is a fuel problem, electronic, or anything else? Any advice to point me in the right direction would be much appreciated. cheers
hi i have the same year van and the same problem. It cuts out smooth as anything and the battery light comes on but there is never a problem starting it again.

I have 1992 conversion and I had a similar problem over last summer I took the van to a commercial diesel specialist in Bury and they sorted it. I was a fuel flow problem - fairly inexpensive to fix. Good Luck
