I have an 03 registered 308cdi - how can you tell what the speed limiter is set to without the involvement of MB stealers (or the obvious "drive it till it won't go any faster")? Is there a factory default setting on the limiter for this model?
I set 308cdis to 161kmph which when im in the INS part of the DAS (merc diag comp) is the factory setting. You will know if its restricted on a motor way, 308 cdis tend to lose power at 85mph, 311cdi 96mph, 313 101mph and 316cdis go 110 easy. I restrict and de-restrict sprinters aswel as cut and programme spare keys. Details are in the website
