Batteries keep losing their charge?

I have replaced the original battery because it had lost its charge after 10 years. I bought a new one and it has died as well after only 3 days. How do I check if the batteries are being recharged since they are rechargeable?

Check battery fuse in panel and test output on + -
also even if the battery is new you do get the odd faulty one
