BELT. if you don't want to mess around with the timing, cut the old belt to half its width with a stanley knife WHILST STILL FITTED and slide new belt on the pulleys. then cut old belt off. you will need to slacken adjuster first but it saves a WHOLE LOAD OF HEARTACHE IF THE PULLEY MOVES before the belt is on.
