Mend JVC AV-32 No Picture Sound Power Light

My JVC TV makes an attempt at coming on but switches itself off. model AV-3?

MY JVC TV is not working. The power light comes on, but when switch on he flickers and goes out. This repeats itself every 4 -5 seconds continuosly until someont turns it off. There is no sound and no picture.
