Mend Shower Constantly Not

My shower leaks constantly when not in use?

I seem to have a problem with the mixer part of my shower. It doesn't full turn off and leave the shower constantly trickling. This leaves a mark on the bath eventually and I am tired of leaving the showerhead over the plughole. Is there anything I can do myself to fix this or is it a case of getting a new part or calling a plumber in?
