How do I fit a White Knight 372 tumble dryer belt?

How do I fit a White Knight tumble dryer belt. I know I have the correct part but it seems too small. What am I doing wrong.

remove all the screws from the back panel,then carefully pull the back out until there is a gap for the belt to go between back panel and drum.fit the belt around drum (will be tight),then tip dryer on its side and remove plate on base (4 screws).find belt and pull it as hard as you can over the motor pulley ( very hard ).reassemble and try.
