Indesit W123 no go!?

mine is doing the same dial keeps tuning and clicking light flashes 7 times at the same time

On turning the dial to a wash/cycle the dial quickly blinks 3 times as if to start then stays red but nothing happens. When i turn it to an end point of a cycle it flashes 3 times quickly again then slowly on and off continuosly. It has always flashed quickly before the cycle kicks in when it worked but I have no idea how many times.
