Mend Hitachi Shows Out Range

Hitachi l42vp01u shows as 'out of range' in pc mode?

It was working for weeks with my laptop then all of a sudden it just said 'out of range'. I've tried changing screen resolution and it has made no difference. I have tried the 'pc mode' with other tv's and it works fine, it's just this tv that it doesn't work with anymore. I have no idea what else to try.

lower the res on your pc with a normal pc screen then connect to your tv c if you get a picture, then up the res again with your pc connected to your tv. it worked for me i only get out of range when the pc starts up then its ok at the windows screen
