Have diffiulty scanning in colour I am on Windows XP?

Worked fine when on Windows98 Now on XP It is difficult to scan in colour Scanner Visioneer Model FU661E

are you using a usb cable connection or a parallel cable connection to your pc as xp does not like parallel ports. If you are you can buy a parallel to usb cable i have just got one on the internet from Hong kong for 4.00
