Renault Megane Electric windows?

I have an 04 Scenic. I have just "repaired" the rear passenger side regulator by replacing the plastic clip which is a common failure mode. I had to remove the motor from the galvanised metal assembly to free up the jammed wires. I reassembled it into the door.
The plastic clip that supports the window was about 1/3 of the way up the slider. The window only moves up and down an inch. Should I be able to pull the window up to the top with the glass connected to the regulator assembly? Can I clear this with the 40 amp fuse removal/insertion? I have had to remove window from clip and jam it closed again. Aargghh.

Yay. Holding the window buttons up for 10 seconds with the windows up worked perfectly. I just did the driver window first and it covered both the driver and passenger. Then I just did both back ones at the same time.

Lleve mi carro (Renault Megane II Sedan 2007)al taller y desconectaron la bateria, mis cristales traseros no se elevaban con un solo toque, se detenian casi inmeditamente luego de elevarse un poco, eleve poco a poco los cristales y una ves que estaban totalmente cerradas las ventanas. Hice lo que menciona Windotech.
Mantuve en la posicion de subir o elevar el cristal cada uno de los botones del lado del conductor de las ventanas traseras por 10 segundos y esto reseteo el mecanismo, ahora todos mis cristales bajan y suben perfectamente. Thank you Windowtech.

The reason for this problem is there is a safety mech built into the windows program, this allows the mecho inside the door to recognise when the glass is at the top of its frame, if the window hits resistance before it touches the top the safety mecho kicks in and sends the window back down, ie:- (childs hand).
Dissconecting the power can sometime play havock with the windows memory.
The memory is nearly always set from the drivers door switches, holding them in the up possition for 10 seconds or so with all the window closed.
If a window has been recently fitted due to a break in check to see if it is a genuine Renalt glass has been fitted some other make can be slightly out of shape and can cause resistance going up and can make the safety system kick in.
make sure there is no obstructions in the window rubber surround preventing the glass recognising the top of the frame.
Check the plug connections under the switches on the door for corrosion, you may have to remove the inner door trim, while there doing this dissconnect the motor from the loom with the window in either the open or closed possition wait 5 min and reconnect then repeat the holding of the winder switch as before.
If all else fails it would have to go into the dealership to have the memory reset on a diagnostic machine.

Hola amigos ., tengo un problema con el boton de el mando central de lado del conductor para bajar o subir mi ventana de lado izquierdo , no funciona, lo mande reparar pero no quedo y luego deplano no funciono, asi que lo volvi a llevar con otro maestro., y segune lo puso directo .,

que hagoo ??' para que funciene de nueva cuenta mi boton ..

i have a renault megane 1.4 dynamique 2004 model. my problem is my left side passenger window at the back goes only one or two inches everytime i press the button . i have to press the switch many times for the window to go down ans some time it go up back in one or two click. any anyone help me how to solve this.

Try holding all the four electric window switches up for about 10 secs(a few seconds basically) and that will reset the windows controller. That should solve your problem, mine had the same problem and that did the trick. Good luck.

Hold the button for each window up on the drivers door switch for a couple of seconds then it should reset the window reg.
