Mend Ford Mondeo Lights Power

ford mondeo flickering lights 04?

mondeo 04 1.8 lx when standind all lights flicker slightly. add power this stops. the tick over seems ok and car runs fine. does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix.

Had similar problem with mk4 . Thought it was alternator problem as the battery is fairly new. I was wrong, it was an earth problem. I tightened up earth lead from battery to body . No more probs. Worth checking first guys. Might save a lot of money. Cheers.
