Mend Ford Mondeo Ghia Battery Power Lost

battery depletion?

ford ghia mondeo battery keeps losing its power 2 new batterys have lost charge within 3 hrs no switches or dials or heating controlls have been left on no lights have been left on how come battery is depleted after just a couple of hrs please?

you have a massive current draw on your car to discharge a battery in 3 hours try disconnecting the battery and then disconnecting the main live cable to the alternator carefully isolate the cable and strap it away from any metal components so it does not short out and reconnect the battery and see if your battery discharges then if it does not you will need a new alternator due to regulator failure
