how can i fix my boiler-potterton performa 24?

potterton performa 24.when i want dhw the pressureimmediatly shoots up to 2bar. the boiler will not ignite at all. prior to this heating worked but when dhw was called for the boiler started banging and the pressuregauge rose erratically -any ideas please

sounds like diverter valve not operating corectly or hw heat exchanger bloked
