I have a proline tumble dryer TDV60 and am trying to change the brushes.I have removed the top but the motor is under the drum do i have to remove the whole back off the machine or is there an easyer way ?
Usually the back has to come off, should be fairly easy, just watch for very sharp edges on the panels. make drawings or take pictures to remind you how to get it all back together again. Any capacitors near the motor can give shock, even with the dryer unplugged so watch for that. I have never come across a tumble dryer that has a universal motor with brushes, they have all been of the brush-less induction type?
