how can i fix my incar dvd player ??

i have a ripspeed in car dvd player with the flip out screen , it works wen the electrics r on in the car but as soon as i turn the engine fully on it goes off does any 1 have any ideas wot i can try plz

Hello there yes you will need to connect the parking cable (the pink one) to the top of the dvd player and use some tape to secure it, then it will work whilst the engine is on.
