Can't get my wharfedale dvd freeview recorder to work after factory reset ?

If you've factory reset the unit, then this will reset the video output to Scart socket or HDMI - depending which one you have connected up.

The unit will not respond until the initial Set Up is completed.

Try changing to either the Scart or HDMI on the back of the dvd recorder , then put the other end into your Tv.
